Dark is the season – all life is continued at Nocturnal Horde

As we are nearing fall, if not tilting into it full speed head first, as it is happening here in Denmark, where the HQ of Nocturnal Horde is residing, and by fall life fades away to die during winter, heading into spring giving new life to flower in full during summer. Here it is a bit different, as Nocturnal Horde just got a bit of new life, it’s been in limbo the last few years due to a lot of different matters, though now the site has gotten a little overhaul and has been merged with Fangs Of Necrodivine Harmony, where I’ve been making very little noise for a time.

Nocturnal Horde – Fangs Of Necrodivine Harmony will continue in the vein of the last, only featuring music that is to my liking, alas a fanzine for the bands and labels I think deserves some noise at the given time, old as new. We’ll feature news, music, reviews (still critical as always), praise, interviews, features and the occasional rant from me.

I have been writing about music online and on print since 1999, and I will continue, perhaps not always as staple and fast as back in the days, though I’ll never stop making noise!

New Jersey’s MIDNITE HELLION is proud to announce the release “Bitchin’ At Champs! 11-15-2013” on Contaminated Tones as part of the label’s official live bootleg series, exclusively on cassette. With a layout done in old school cut-and-paste DIY fashion, the six-track cassette captures MIDNITE HELLION blazing away on stage.

“Bitchin’ At Champs! 11-15-2013” will be officially released on March 4.

MIDNITE HELLION is currently hard at work on material for a new full-length album and will hit the studio next month to begin recording for a summer 2014 release date. Speed Metal DEMONA

DEMONA started in 2007 as a one-woman project in Chile with Singer/guitarist Tanza. After a couple of demo, the “band” started to get recognition in the underground circut and israeli label ISRAHELL BANGERS released the “NIghtmare” release on Cassette, while german IRON BONEHEAD released it as a 7″vinyl EP.

June 2011 saw Tanza moving to Québec, Canada where she recruited musicians to play live-show but also to give to DEMONA a complete line-up. After a line-up change, DEMONA is now composed of Tanza (Guitars/Vocals); Gabrihell (Guitars), Jeff (Bass) and Antoine (Drums). After intense rehearsals, the band recorded its full length album to be released on German labels DYING VICTIMS Prods (CD) and HEAVY FORCES (Vinyl) in March 2012.

Since then, the band has worked alot to improve & develop their own personal style of “speed-metal” that should for sure please all die-hard maniacs into bands like LIVING DEATH, VECTOM, ZNÖWHITE, SENTINEL BEAST to name a few…
The band has recently signed a deal with french label INFERNÖ Records (home of LADY BEAST, ELVENSTORM, AXECUTER, PRIME EVIL, DEATH RIDES A HORSE to name a few) and their new album “Speaking With The Devil” including 8 songs (+ intro/outro) will see the light of the day before the end of the year on CD/Digi-CD/Cassette & Vinyl ! To be also noticed, a die-hard version of the cassette will be release on german DESTRUKTION Records too ! Be ready for a new merciless SPEED METAL attack !
